Sarlata is a small village with about 250 residents. It is 11 kilometers south of Argostoli and just 500 meters from Kefalonia’s airport.
In recent years it shows a great touristic development with the construction of accommodation that covers all the requirements of its guests.
Very close to the village there are the organized beaches Ammes, Spasmata, Great Sand and many others that offer visitors delightful swimming.
Sarlata is built amphitheatrically on a hill and it offers the visitors an excellent view of the blue waters. Well-known are the churches, especially the pre-earthquake church of our Mother of God.
