Ventourata is a small mountain village in the northwestern part of the island, with a view of Ithaca. Ventourata is considered a semi-mountainous settlement because it is situated at a height of 220 meters above sea level and the view from the village is magnificent. Inside the village, you can see the residents’ homes, many of which are pre-earthquake, as Ventourata, like the rest of Erisos, was one of the locations that escaped the 1953 earthquakes with the fewest losses.
Ventourata is located at a distance of 40 km from Argostoli, while Fiskardo and Assos are only a few kilometers away. Some of the most stunning beaches in the area, such as Emblisi and Foki near Fiskardo, are only a short distance from Ventourata.
