The Lassi area is only 1 km from Argostoli and is one of the most famous and touristic sites of the island.

It has excellent tourism infrastructure for all requirements such as large luxury hotels, apartments for rent, villas, supermarkets, car rental agencies, tourist shops, restaurants with local specialties and international cuisine, cafes and bars for entertainment until the early morning hours.

In the area we will meet some of the most famous sandy beaches of Kefalonia, namely Makris and Platis Gialos, where the tourist can loosely enjoy swimming in the crystal clear sea or engage in water sports and in the evening to have a drink at the beach bar dancing until dawn at the parties that are organized there. There are also smaller beaches in Lassi, like Gradakia, Paliostafida and Kalamia for those seeking tranquility and isolation.

Very close and through a magical journey, we find the lighthouse of St. Theodore, a circular building with 20 Doric columns and a small tower with a beacon on the roof, which was originally built in 1828 by JP Kennedy, but was destroyed in 1953 and was rebuilt, just as it was, in 1964. The visitor can stand and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and excellent views of the island Vardianoi. Further down are Katavothres with its water mill, a unique geological phenomenon where the water cross, below the ground, over the island and end up in Karavomylos, in the area of Sami.
